Ricoh recognised as a CDP 2025 Supplier Engagement Leader for sixth consecutive year

Ricoh today announced it has been recognised as a 2025 Supplier Engagement Leader by CDP, a global non-profit that operates an independent environmental disclosure system. This marks the sixth consecutive year Ricoh has earned the organisation’s highest rating.

The Supplier Engagement Assessment evaluates companies’ governance, targets, Scope 3 emissions and value chain engagement based on their responses to the climate change section of the CDP questionnaire. Ricoh was also selected by CDP for the 2025 A List in both Climate Change and Water Security in recognition of its high level of transparency and performance in environmental disclosure in those two fields. 

Mikako Suzuki, chief sustainability and risk management officer at Ricoh Company, Ltd., said, “We are honored to have received the highest rating in CDP’s Supplier Engagement Assessment for the sixth consecutive year. This recognition reflects our ongoing collaboration with suppliers who have worked with us toward the shared goal of realising a decarbonised society, and we sincerely appreciate their support. It is also a testament to our efforts to advance decarbonization across the supply chain through energy-efficient products and solutions, supplier briefing sessions and requests that key suppliers set medium- to long-term greenhouse gas reduction targets. We will continue to strengthen collaboration and accelerate climate action across the entire value chain.”

Climate change is one of the most important social issues facing the global community. Ricoh will continue to promote energy conservation and the active use of renewable energy in its own operations while also encouraging business partners and customers to help build a decarbonised society across the entire value chain.
